เรื่องย่อ The Fifth Estate

The Fifth Estate จะพาคุณไปเปิดประวัติของ จูเลียน อาสซานจ์ เจ้าของเว็บไซต์ WikiLeaks อันโด่งดัง ซึ่งเราจะได้สัมผัสเรื่องราวชีวิตจริงสุดแสนจะดราม่า ของเขา ในฐานะเจ้าของบริษัทดำเนินการด้านอินเทอร์เน็ต ที่ถูกปัญหาเรื่องการเมืองและการคอร์รัปชั่นโจมตี จนกลายเป็นหนึ่งในบริษัทที่ก่อให้เกิดเสียงวิพากษ์วิ จารณ์มากที่สุด

โดยเรื่องราวเริ่มต้นขึ้นเมื่อ จูเลียน อาสซานจ์และแดเนียล ดอมสเชต เพื่อนร่วมงานของเขา ตัดสินใจร่วมมือกันทำตัวเป็นสายลับแอบสืบเรื่องราวขอ งผู้มีอิทธิพลจากใต้ดินและเผยแพร่ข้อมูลออกมา ทำให้ WikiLeaks กลายเป็นสื่อที่เผยแพร่ข้อมูลลับขององค์กรสำคัญมากมา ยและอาจมากที่สุดในโลกก็ว่าได้

กระทั่งได้ไปกระทบกับความลับสำคัญของทางสหรัฐอเมริกา เข้า จนเกิดเป็นประเด็นฟ้องร้องกันวุ่นวาย ถึงขั้นถูกกดดันให้ปิดตัวเว็บไซต์ลง เกิดเป็นกระแสวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ครั้งใหญ่ และคำถามตามมาว่า "ราคาในการเก็บความลับจากสาธารณชนมีค่าเท่าไหร่ และการละเมิดกฎนั้นต้องชดใช้เท่าไหร่กันแน่ ?"

ซึ่ง The Fifth Estate จะมีทีมนักแสดง ได้แก่ เบเนดิกต์ คัมเบอร์แบ็ตช์ (Benedict Cumberbatch), สแตนลีย์ ทุชชี (Stanley Tucci), แดเนียล บรุห์ล (Daniel Brü hl), คาริช แวน ฮิวเท็น (Carice van Houten), แอนโธนี แมคคี (Anthony Mackie) และ ลอรา ลินนีย์ (Laura Linney) เป็นผู้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราว
