เป็นเรื่องราวของทีมลาดตระเวนของหน่วยซีลทีม 10 ประกอบด้วยเรือเอกไมเคิล เมอร์ฟี่ (Taylor Kitsch) หัวหน้าทีม, พันจ่าโทแดนนี่ ไดแอทซ์ (Emile Hirsch), พันจ่าโทแมทธิว แอกเซลสัน (Ben Foster) และจ่าโทเสนารักษ์มาร์คัส ลูทเทรล (Mark Wahlberg) ได้รับคำสั่งให้ลาดตระเวนสอดแนมบริเวณหุบเขา Shuryek Valley ระหว่างการลาดตระเวนได้พบกับเด็กเลี้ยงแพะ และดูไม่เป็นพิษเป็นภัยอะไรจึงปล่อยตัวไป ก่อนที่เวลาต่อมาทีมลาดตระเวนจะพบว่าตัวเองถูกหน่วยร บกลุ่มตาลีบันล้อมพื้นที่เอาไว้หมดแล้ว ทางเดียวที่จะรอดไปได้คือฝ่าออกไป โดยหัวหน้าทีมได้วิทยุขอกำลังเสริม แต่วิทยุขัดข้องใช้การไม่ได้ จึงต้องใช้โทรศัพท์ผ่านดาวเทียมโทรกลับฐานเพื่อขอกำล ังเสริม หน่วยซีลทีม 10 จึงร่วมมือกับหน่วยปฏิบัติการพิเศษเข้าช่วยเหลือโดยจ ัดทีมขึ้นบินด้วยเฮลิคอปเตอร์ชีนุค แบล๊คฮอว์ค โดยมีอาปาเช่คุ้มกันเพื่อเข้าสู่พื้นที่ปะทะและช่วยเ หลือหน่วยลาดตระเวนที่ความหวังในการเอาชีวิตรอดเหลือ น้อยเต็มที!!!
