เป็นตอนที่ว่าด้วยความรักในวิชาชีพ วิชาที่ตัวเองรัก และอยากเป็นหนึ่งในวิชาชีพของตนชาชีพที่ว่านี้ คือการตีดาบ ซึ่งการเป็นหนึ่งในวิชาชีพตีดาบนั้น ก็ต้องตีดาบที่สามารถฆ่าคนได้
อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ยิ่งมุ่งมั่นก็ยิ่งถลำลึก จนตกเป็นเครื่องมือของคนชั่ว (คนหนึ่งต้องการเป็นหนึ่งในวิถีตีดาบ ส่วนอีกคนต้องการเป็นหนึ่งในวิถีฟันดาบล้วนแต่เป็นวิ ถีฆ่าคนทั้งนั้น) แล้ว อยู่ๆ คาซึระถูกคนของกองทหารอสุราลอบทำร้ายจนได้รับบาดเจ็บ สาหัสทั้งที่เคยเป็น เพื่อนกับเขาและกินโทกิในสมัยเด็ก เหล่านักรับจ้างสารพัดจึงออกสืบหาต้นตอของเรื่องราวท ั้งหมดและคุณชายกินจะ หยุดหยั้งความถลำลึกนี้ได้อย่างไร ต้องติดตาม....
