Siberian Odyssey "- a film the expedition of the famous French traveler , writer , documentary filmmaker , cameraman and director Nicolas Vanier , who along with his team went all the way up to more than eight thousand miles from Lake Baikal to the Russian capital.

In the winter of 2005-2006 began the expedition "Siberian Odyssey": Nicolas Vanier and his 10 dogs have gone from Irkutsk to Moscow , more than 8000 km. This trip was a joint Russian-French project , which was organized with the support of Open Society "Gazprom" , Russian Emergencies Ministry and the company "Gaz de France." Information sponsors were the first French television channel (TF-1) and the magazine "Paris Match" (Paris Match). The trip was organized under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs of France.
