ผู้กำกับ ซิออน โซโนะ (Suicide Club , Love Exposure) ถือได้ว่าเป็นคนทำหนังชาวญี่ปุ่นที่สร้างความอื้อฉาว แบบรายปี ไม่มีการประนีประนอมต่อเรื่องเพศ และความรุนแรง ขุดเอาด้านมืดของมนุษย์มาเล่าใหม่อย่างสนุกสนาน แซมด้วยอารมณ์ขันร้าย ๆ ที่คุณแทบจะขำไม่ออก เขากลับมาอีกครั้งในปีนี้กับ Himizu ที่ดัดแปลงจากการ์ตูน โดยใส่เนื้อหาร่วมสมัยเข้าไป ฉากหลังของหนังคือช่วงที่ประเทศเพิ่งประสบภัยสึนามิ ยูอิจิ เด็กหนุ่มวัย 14 ปี ต้องอยู่กับพ่อที่เป็นคนติดเหล้า และแม่ที่หลับนอนกับผู้ชายไม่ซ้ำหน้า เคอิโกะ เด็กหญิงซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนร่วมชั้นที่ตกหลุมรักยูอิจิ และพยายามทำทุกวิถีทางให้เด็กหนุ่มหันมาสนใจเธอ ชีวิตของเคอิโกะก็หนักหนาสาหัสพอกัน แม่ของเธอพยายามจะฆ่าเธอ เพราะเชื่อว่า "หากลูกตายไป ชีวิตฉันคงดีกว่านี้" เด็กหนุ่มและเด็กสาวที่จิตใจเป็นแผลมาเจอกัน ทว่าในโลกของซิออน โซโนะ สองคนนี้ไม่ได้มาเพื่อเยียวยากันและกัน แต่มาเพื่อจะทำร้ายกันให้เจ็บยิ่งกว่าเดิม!!! Himizu ได้รับคำชมอย่างล้นหลามจากการเข้าฉายในสายประกวดของเ ทศกาลภาพยนตร์เวนิซปี 2011 โดยสามารถคว้ารางวัล Best New Young Actor and Actress กลับมาด้วย
