เรื่องย่อ

ภาพยนตร์ซึ่งสร้างจากนิยายขายดีในชื่อเดียวกัน เขียนโดย เซท เกรแฮม - สมิธ โดยตัวภาพยนตร์บอกเล่าถึงเรื่องราวในอีกมุมหนึ่งของอ ดีตประธานาธิบดีคนที่ 16 ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่อย่าง "อับบราฮัม ลินคอร์น" (Abraham Lincoln) ซึ่งมีอีกมุมหนึ่งของชีวิตที่ทุกคนอาจไม่รู้มาก่อน

เมื่อมีการขุดเอาชีวิตลับของ Abraham Lincoln ประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐฯ ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้ซึ่งไม่มีทั้งครอบครัวและทรัพย์สินเงินทอง แถมแม่ของเขาเสียชีวิตลงตอนที่เขาเป็นเด็ก อันที่จริงแล้วทุกคนที่เขารักต้องจบชีวิตลง เขาเป็นคนไร้การศึกษาที่มีความชาญฉลาดเป็นอาวุธ รวมถึงเรื่องราวของการก่อตั้งประเทศที่ไม่ถูกเปิดเผย มาก่อน จะเป็นอย่างไร …

เมื่อแม่ของของประธานธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกา "อับบราฮัม ลินคอร์น" (เบนจามิน วอร์คเกอร์) เสียชีวิตลง ด้วยฝีมือของสิ่งมีชีวิตเหนือธรรมชาติสุดโหดเหี้ยมอย ่าง "แวมไพร์" ทำให้เขานอกจากจะดำรงตำแหน่งใหญ่เป็นผู้นำหมายเลขหนึ ่งของชาวอเมริกันที่ ต้องเผชิญหน้ากับสงครามกลางเมือง ส่วนอีกด้านหนึ่งเขาต้องกลายเป็นนักล่าแวมไพร์ในยามค ่ำคืน ที่มักออกไล่ล่าปีศาจร้ายพร้อมกับอาวุธขวานคู่ใจเพื่ อล้างแค้นให้กับแม่และ นี้คือด้านมืดอีกมุมหนึ่งของประธานาธิบดีคนนี้
