แล้ววันหนึ่ง ฮิวโก้ก็ได้พบอิซาเบล (โคลอี้ มอเร็ทซ์) เด็กสาวนิสัยประหลาดผู้รักการผจญภัย ที่มีกุญแจที่เขาต้องการ แต่ระหว่างนั้นก็ต้องคอยหลบนายตรวจสถานีผู้เคร่งครัด (ซาช่า บารอน โคเอน) และหาทางค้นพาว่าชีวิตของเขาเกี่ยวข้องกับเจ้าของร้า นขายของเล่นท่าทางแปลกๆ ยังไง
