เรื่องย่อ
เทย์โตะ ไคลน์ เด็กหนุ่มที่กำลังจะจบการศึกษาจากโรงเรียนเสนาธิการท หารแห่งจักรวรรดิ์บาร์ส เบิร์ก เทย์โตะสูญเสียความทรงจำในอดีตของตัวเองไปหมด แต่เมื่อวันหนึ่งเขาได้พบกับ อายานามิ แม่ทัพของจักรวรรดิ์บาร์สเบิร์กโดยบังเอิญที่โรงเรีย น ทำให้เทย์โตะนึกได้ว่า อายานามิคือชายที่เขา ฝันว่าเป็นคนสังหารพ่อของเขา ทำให้เราเริ่มที่จะหนีออกจากโรงเรียน แต่ก็ถูกจับตัวได้ซะก่อน แต่เพราะได้รับความช่วยเหลือจากมิคาเกะ เพื่อนสนิทของเขา จึงทำให้หนีออกมาได้ในสภาพบาดเจ็บ จนไปตกใส่ ฟราว บิชอปที่กำลังขับยานอยู่แถวนั้นพอดี เมื่อเทย์โตะฟื้นก็เพิ่งรู้ว่าตัวเองได้มาอยู่ใน วิหารบาร์สเบิร์กในเขต7 ซึ่งได้รับการช่วยเหลือจาก ฟราว ลาบราดอล และคาสเตอร์ ซึ่งเป็นบิชอปของวิหารแห่งนี้.....
