เรื่องย่อ
ญี่ปุ่นในปี 2071 ที่โลกถูกทำลายล้างโดยพวกมอนสเตอร์ที่เรียกตัวเองว่า อารากามิ (Aragami) องค์กรเฟนริล (Fenrir) เพื่อปราบพวกนี้ โดยใช้อาวุธที่เรียกว่า God Arc ซึ่งสร้างมาจากเซลล์ของพวกอารากามิ ผู้ที่ใช้อาวุธเหล่านี้ได้จะเรียกว่า God Eaters ซึ่งอาวุธแบ่งรูปแบบเป็นดาบและปืน แต่มีการค้นพบอาวุธรูปแบบใหม่ที่สลับระหว่างดาบกับปื นได้ภายหลัง
