หลังจากที่พิชิตฮาวาร์ดได้ แอล วู้ดส์ (รีส วิทเธอร์สปูน) ก็เข้าทำงานเป็นทนายความน้องใหม่ ในบริษัทกฎหมายยักษ์ใหญ่
