หลังจากความสำเร็จพอตัวในหนังภาคแรก The Mask of Zorro ในปี 1998 แต่หนังทิ้งช่วงนานกว่า 7 ปีกว่าที่ผู้กำกับ Martin Campbell จะหยิบเอาผลงานหนังที่สร้างชื่อให้แก่เค้าในยุค 90s กลับมาสร้างภาคต่อในชื่อ The Legend of Zorro ในปี 2005 โดยในภาคที่ 2 นี้ยังคงได้ทีมงานนักแสดงนำจากภาคแรกในปี 2005 อยู่กันอย่างครบทีมทั้งคู่พระนางอย่าง Antonio Banderas และ Catherine Zeta – Jones ทำให้ภาคนี้หนังยังคงออกมารื่นไหล ไม่ขัดหูขัดตา แม้เนื้อเรื่องหรือฉาก Action ต่าง ๆ ในภาคนี้หากไม่มีอะไรแปลกใหม่กว่าภาคแรก หากดูแบบไม่คิดอะไรมากหนังภาคนี้ก็ดูสนุกแบบเรื่อย ๆ ครับ

























ดอน อเลฮานโดร เดอ ลา เวก้า [Antonio Banderas] และ เอลีน่า [Catherine Zeta - Jones] ได้แต่งงานกันและมีลูกชายอายุ 10 ขวบ ชื่อ วาคิน [Adrian Alonso] ซึ่งถึงแม้อะเลฮานโดรจะยังคงสวมหน้ากากโซโรออกปกป้อง ผู้ยากไร้และพิทักษ์ชาวเมืองแคลิฟอร์เนียจากพวกเจ้าข ุนมูลนายหน้าเลือดใน ช่วง 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา แต่มาบัดนี้ความรู้สึกของเขากลับถูกแบ่งออกเป็นสอง ระหว่างสำนึกในหน้าที่และความปรารถนาที่อยากจะมีชีวิ ตแบบคนธรรมดาทั่วไปตาม ความต้องการของเอลีน่า และเมื่ออเลฮานโดรไม่สามารถทำตามคำสัญญาที่เคยให้แก่ ภรรยาสาวว่าหากเสร็จ สิ้นภารกิจสุดท้ายในการปลดแอกเมืองแคลิฟอร์เนียให้เป ็นอิสระ ทำให้เอเลน่าโมโหและยื่นเอกสารหย่ากับเค้า

3 เดือนต่อมาอเลฮานโดร เดอ ลา เวก้าในสภาพที่ต้องแยกกันอยู่และแยกกันดูแลลูกชายกับ เอลีน่าที่ตอนนี้อยู่ในสถานะภรรยาเก่าของเค้า ในสภาพจิตใจที่ยังสับสนกับปัญหาครอบครัว แผนการแต่งตั้งแคลิฟอร์เนียขึ้นเป็นรัฐที่ 31 ของอเมริกาก็กำลังถูกขัดขวางด้วยอำนาจมืด พร้อมกับการปรากฎตัวของ เคาท์อามาน [Rufus Sewell] มหาเศรษฐีหนุ่มจากฝรั่งเศสที่เข้ามาทำธุระกิจในเมือง แคลิฟอร์เนีย และยังแสดงออกอย่างชัดเจนว่าเค้าสนใจในตัวเอลีน่าและ เคาท์อามานคนนี้ก็ดูจะ มีเบื้องหลังที่ไม่น่าไว้ใจหลายอย่าง ทำให้อเลฮานโดร เดอ ลา เวก้าต้องลุกขึ้นต่อสู้ในนามโซโรอีกครั้ง แต่ครั้งนี้นอกจากประชาชนและเมืองแคลิฟอร์เนียที่เค้ าปกป้องมาตลอด 10 ปี การต่อสู้ที่เสี่ยงอันตรายครั้งนี้ยังมีเดิมพันที่สำ คัญคือครอบครัวที่เค้า รักทั้ง ภรรยาและลูกชายอีกด้วย !!!
