Sal (Hawke) ตำรวจร้อนเงินซึ่งพยายามทำทุกวิถีทางที่จะได้เงินไปด าวน์บ้านใหม่ให้ครอบ ครัว เพราะอยากให้ลูกเมียกว่าอีก 8 ชีวิตได้อยู่อย่างสุขสบาย ซึ่งนั่นอาจจะหมายถึงการที่เขาอาจต้องคอยขโมยเงินของ กลางจากการบุกจับพวกค้า ยาด้วย



Tango (Don Cheadle จาก Crash [2004]) ตำรวจที่แฝงตัวเข้าแก๊งค์ค้ายามาช้านาน และเขาก็อยากกลับไปทำงานนั่งโต๊ะสบายๆ ไม่ต้องเสี่ยงแทบแย่อยู่แล้ว แต่ก็ต้องคิดหนักเพราะงานส่งท้ายของเขาคือการต้องจับ Caz (Wesley Snipes จากไตรภาค Blade) เพื่อนรักร่วมแก๊งค์ผู้เคยช่วยชีวิตเขาไว้

และคนสุดท้ายคือ Eddie (Richard Gere จาก Hachiko: A Dog s Story [2009]) ตำรวจแก่หมดไฟที่กำลังจะเกษียณในอีกไม่กี่วันข้างหน้ า ซึ่งเขาก็ใช้ชีวิตและทำงานอย่างแบบขอไปที แถมยังคิดจะฆ่าตัวตายวันละหลายครั้งอีกด้วย สิ่งเดียวที่ทำให้เขาพอจะมีความสุขอยู่ได้บ้าง คือการได้ใช้เวลาอยู่กับ Chantel โสโภณีที่ดูเหมือนจะเข้าอกเข้าใจเขาเป็นอย่างดี และอาจเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เขาลุกขึ้นมาพิสูจน์ตนในฐาน ะผู้พิทักษ์สันติราษฏร์ ที่ดีอีกครั้งหนึ่ง
