เรียนท่านผู้โดยสารทุกท่าน...โปรดควบคุม "ความบ้า" ให้อยู่ใน "ความสนุก"

ผู้โดยสารจากหลากหลายชนชั้น หลากหลายอายุ หลากหลายที่มา ต่างต้องมาตกอยู่ในชะตากรรมเดียวกันบนเที่ยวบินที่ 2549 ของสายการบินเพนินซูล่า ที่กำลังมุ่งหน้าสู่กรุงเม็กซิโกซิตี้…

เมื่อกัปตันพบว่าเกิดเหตุขัดข้องบางอย่างทางเทคนิค ที่ทำให้ไม่สามารถกางล้อสำหรับลงจอดได้ ทางเลือกมีอยู่ไม่มากนัก หนึ่งคือกัปตันต้องพาเครื่องลงบนรันเวย์ที่โล่งและกว ้างพอ และสอง...ปล่อยให้ทุกอย่างจบลงด้วยโศกนาฏกรรม
