เรื่องย่อ

Many screen versions have been made of this classic Chinese love story, but auteur Li Han-hsiang s version is the most popular of them all. Yen Chuan plays the weak emperor, whose obsession with his consort, Yang Kwei Fei (played by the ever-elegant and ever-sensual Li Li-hua) makes him leaves the running of the country to his Prime Minister (Yang Chi-ching), who happens to be Yang Kwei Fei s brother. Unfortunately, the cruel and selfish Prime Minister s decisions leave the empire in shambles. Magnificent is the only word that could describe this exquisite production
