หลังการแข่งขันฟุตบอลโลกทีมฟุตบอลทีมชาติสหรัฐอเมริก าได้เดินทางกลับโดยเครื่องบินเช่าเหมาลํา แต่เหตุการณ์ไม่คาดคิดก็เกิดขึ้นเมื่อเครื่องบินได้เ กิดอุบัติเหตุตกลงในมหาสมุทรยังผลให้นักฟุตบอลรวมถึง ครอบครัวโค๊ชผู้ฝึกสอนเกือบทั้งลำเสียชีวิต แต่ยังมีกลุ่มผู้รอดชีวิตจำนวน 15 คนที่รอดตายมาได้อย่างปาฏิหาริย์ทั้งหมดว่ายน้ำเข้าไ ปที่เกาะร้างแห่งหนึ่งที่ไม่ปรากฏบนแผนที่โลก และที่เกาะร้างแห่งนี้กลุ่มผู้รอดชีวิตทั้งหมดต้องดิ ้นรนหาทางรอดเพื่อรอคอยหน่วยกู้ภัยมาช่วย !!!
