จนหลายคนเริ่มจะลังเลแล้วว่าตกลงหมอนี่อาจจะเป็นอย่า งที่อ้างตัวจริงๆ ก็เป็นได้

หนังถ่ายกันอยู่ที่เดียวทั้งเรื่อง นี่เป็นหนังดราม่า-ไซไฟเล็กๆ ที่มีทุนสร้างจิ๊บๆ
ถ่ายทำอยู่ในโลเคชั่นเดียวตลอดงาน กับนักแสดงไม่กี่คน (แถมใช้กล้องวีดีโอแค่สองตัวถ่ายทำอีกต่างหาก)
แต่กลับเป็นที่กล่าวขวัญถึงแบบปากต่อปากบนอินเตอร์เน ็ตถึงความแจ่มของหนัง
จนมีคะแนน 8.0 เต็ม 10 ในเว็บขวัญใจคนรักหนังอย่าง imdb จากผู้โหวตกว่า 96,583 กว่าคนเลยทีเดียว
ซึ่งนั่นย่อมแสดงว่าหนังเรื่องนี้ต้องไม่ธรรมดาจริงๆ เป็นแน่เชียว

และก็เป็นเช่นนั้นจริงๆ เพราะหนังสามารถทำให้ต้องฉุกคิดในหลายเรื่อง
ทั้งด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ ประวัติศาสตร์ สังคม จิตวิทยา ศิลปะ ไปยันศาสนา
ซึ่งสำหรับคนที่ชอบครุ่นคิดและชอบอะไรที่มันวิชาการแ ล้ว ดูเรื่องนี้คงจะถูกใจหลาย
เรียกว่านี่อาจจะเป็นหนังที่จุดประกาย เปิดโลกทัศน์ในการมองโลกให้กับบางคนได้เลยทีเดียว
และยังสามารถเปิดประเด็นให้ได้ถกกันยาวๆ อีกด้วย

แต่หนังที่เล่นกันอยู่ฉากเดียวและเต็มไปด้วยบทสนทนาค ล้ายละครเวทีแบบนี้ใช่ว่าจะถูกใจกันได้ทุกคน
อีกทั้งถึงแม้ผู้แต่งจะสามารถหาประเด็นที่น่าสนใจขึ้ นมานำเสนอได้
แต่ก็อาจถูกมองว่าจับแพะมาชนแกะได้อย่างไร้สาระสิ้นด ี จนถึงขั้นเข้าข่ายลบหลู่ศาสนาได้เลยทีเดียว
ยังไงซะนี่ก็เป็นหนังเล็กๆ ที่มีเรื่องราวจุดประเด็นให้คิดได้เข้าท่าดี
นี่เห็นว่าเป็นผลงานเขียนบทเรื่องสุดท้ายของ Jerome Bixby
นักเขียนนิยายแนวไซไฟรุ่นเก๋าที่เสียชีวิตคาเตียงหลั งจากเขียนบทเรื่องนี้เสร็จ
