Confessions เป็นหนังที่การันตีคุณภาพจากรางวัลสาขาต่างๆมากมาย ทั้งในประเทศญี่ปุ่นเอง ก็กวาดรางวัลมาเพียบ ทั้ง Best Director, Best Film, Best Actress, Best Picture, Best Screenplay… เขียนไม่หมดจริงๆ คือกวาดมาแล้วทุกสำนัก ทุกสาขา ไม่เพียงแค่ในญี่ปุ่นแต่ยังเป็นผู้เข้าชิงรางวัล Academy Award สาขา Best Foreign Language Film มาแล้ว

หนังว่าด้วยเรื่องของครูสาวคนหนึ่ง (อาจารย์ยูโกะ) ที่ลูกสาวของเธอถูกนักเรียนมัธยมต้นจากห้องของเธอฆ่า ตาย ต่างจากหนังเรื่องอื่นๆที่ส่วนใหญ่เน้นการหารฆาตกร แต่ในเรื่องนี้อาจารย์ยูโกะได้รู้ถึงตัวฆาตกรตั้งแต่ เปิดเรื่องมาแล้ว เธอรู้ว่าใครทำแต่ก็ไม่สามารถดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมายได้ เนื่องจากกฎหมายญี่ปุ่นนั้นมีกฎหมายปกป้องเยาวชนอยู่ แต่นั้นกลับทำให้เธอใช้วิธีล้างแค้นที่เหนือชั้นกว่า ที่ใครจะสามารถคิดได้ ซึ่งเป็นการล้างแค้นที่เล่นกับจิตใจของคน ทำให้หนังดูน่าติดตามตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ เพราะไม่สามารถคาดเดาอะไรจากหนังเรื่องนี้ได้เลย
