เป็นเรื่องราวของหญิงสาวชาวออฟฟิศที่มีชื่อว่า Kobayashi ผู้ซึ่งเมาแอ๋และได้เข้าช่วยเหลือมังกรสาวนาม Tohru เข้า ทำให้มังกรสาวรู้สึกปลาบปลื้มเป็นอย่างมาก และหลังพบว่า Tohru เดินทางมายังโลกมนุษย์เพียงคนเดียวและไม่มีที่อยู่อา ศัย Kobayashi จึงเสนอให้เธอมาอยู่ด้วย โดยมีข้อแลกเปลี่ยนว่าจะต้องมาเป็นเมดให้เธอ เรื่องราววุ่นๆ สุดน่ารักของมนุษย์และเมดมังกรก็เริ่มต้นขึ้น
