เรื่องย่อ
เดวิด วอซเนียค (วินซ์ วอห์น) มีชีวิตที่เรียบง่ายเสมอมา เขาเป็นพนักงานขับรถส่งของในบริษัทเนื้อของครอบครัวเ ขา และเขาก็ดูเหมือนจะพึงพอใจกับการใช้ชีวิตอยู่อย่างเร ียบง่ายธรรมดาแบบนี้ แม้ว่าเดวิดจะเป็นคนจิตใจงาม และเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของทุกคนที่เขาได้โอภาปราศรัยด้วย แต่เขาก็ยังทำตัวเป็นเด็กๆ ขาดสมาธิ มีหนี้สินล้นพ้นตัว และต้องการคำชี้แนะหนทางในชีวิตอย่างยิ่ง แต่เมื่อเขาพบว่าเขาเป็นพ่อของเด็ก 533 คน ซึ่ง 142 คนกำลังฟ้องร้องเพื่อที่จะรู้ตัวตนของเขา ทุกอย่างก็เปลี่ยนไป และเดวิดก็ตัดสินใจว่าเขาอยากจะทำในสิ่งที่ถูกต้องซั กครั้ง และรับผิดชอบต่อการกระทำของตัวเอง
