เรื่องย่อ...Inkheart (2008) เปิดตำนาน อิงค์ฮาร์ท มหัศจรรย์ทะลุโลก
หลังจากที่แม่หายตัวไปเมื่อ 9 ปีก่อน เม็กกี้ (อลิซ่า เบ็นเน็ท) และ โม (แบรนเดน เฟรเชอร์) พ่อของเธอ ก็ไม่เคยลงหลักปักฐานอยู่ที่ไหนนาน โดย โม นั้นทำอาชีพเข้าเล่มหนังสือ ดูเหมือนว่าเขาจะมีความลับเกี่ยวกับแม่ที่ปิดบังเม็ก กี้อยู่ และ โม ก็ยังมีความสามารถพิเศษในการดึงตัวละครในหนังสือนิยา ยออกมาได้เมื่ออ่านออก เสียง ซึ่งตอนที่ เม็กกี้ ยังเล็ก โม ได้อ่านนิยายเรื่อง "Inkheart" และได้ปลุกตัวละครที่ชั่วร้ายและอันตรายออกมาหลายตัว เช่น "แคปริคอร์น" ใจโฉด (แอนดี้ เซอร์คิส) และ "ดัสต์ฟิงเกอร์" จอมเจ้าเล่ห์ (พอล เบ็ตตานี่) แต่ที่น่ากลัวไปกว่านั้นก็คือ การที่ภรรยาของเขาหายเข้าไปในหนังสือ ทำให้โมสาบานว่าจะไม่อ่านออกเสียงอีก นับแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมา เขาต้องหลบหนีตัวละครเหล่านั้น และคอยรักษาหนังสือ Inkheart ยิ่งกว่าชีวิต เพราะมันคือความหวังเดียวที่จะนำคนรักและแม่ของลูกกล ับคืนมา ขณะเดียวกัน แคปริคอร์น ก็ได้ออกตามล่า โม แทบพลิกแผ่นดิน เพราะต้องการให้เขาอ่านหนังสือเล่มนั้นอีกครั้ง และดึงตัวละครทั้งหมดออกมาเพื่อที่เขาจะได้เป็นใหญ่ จากนั้นก็ทำลายหนังสือซะ ซึ่งทำให้ทั้ง โม เม็กกี้ และป้าเอลินอร์ ต้องหาทางหยุดแคปริคอร์น และนำแม่ของ เม็กกี้ กลับมาให้จงได้
