เรื่องย่อ
มาคิ (ไวโอลิน),สุซุเมะ(เชลโล่),เป๊ปปุ(ไวโอลีน),อิเอะโมร ิ(วิโอล่า) เป็นคนที่รักการเล่นดนตรีเหมือนกันบังเอิญเจอกันที่ร ้านคาราโอเกะ เลยตกลงกันจะตั้งวง quarter โดยทั้ง 4 คนจะไปพักและซ้อมดนตรีกันที่บ้านพักของเป๊ปปุ ที่คารุยซาว่า ใช้ชื่อวงว่า Doughnuts Hole และมีความฝันเหมือนกันคือ ได้แสดงบนเวทีใหญ่ ที่มีผู้ชมเยอะๆ แต่ตอนนี้ก็รับงานเล็ก อย่างการแสดงในร้านอาหารช่วงเสาร์อาทิตย์ ไปบรรเลงงานแต่งงาน เป็นวงประกอบให้นักเปียโน ซึ่งทั้งสี่คนจะมีปมต่างๆแตกต่างกันไป แยกเป็นตอนๆไป รวมไปถึงการหายไปของสามีมาคิ และอุปสรรคต่างๆของวง Doughnuts Hole
