The world of spirits in The Medium is a dark reflection of our reality, a gloomy and uncomfortable place where unpunished transgressions, unkind aspirations and vicious secrets manifest themselves and take shape. This world was inspired by the paintings of Zdzislaw Beksiń ski, a Polish dystopian and surrealist recognized worldwide for his characteristic dark style.
Immerse yourself in the unsettling and oppressive atmosphere of the game with the original double soundtrack co-created by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikovsky. Yamaoka-san is a legendary Japanese composer best known for the soundtracks for the Silent Hill series. Reikowski is a Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee who has worked on renowned horror games such as Blair Witch, Layers of Fear and Observer. Now they are joining creative forces to create music and songs for The Medium.
