เรื่องย่อ
เทวดาท่าจะบ๊องส์ หรือ The Gods Must Be Crazy ออกฉายครั้งแรกเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2523 เป็นเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ ซี (Xi)คนป่าบุชเม็นแห่งทะเลทรายกาลาฮารี (รับบทโดย นิเชา บุชเม็น ชาวนามิเบีย) ที่ใช้ชีวิตอย่างสงบอยู่ในดินแดนห่างไกลอารยธรรม กลางทะเลทรายกาลาฮารี

แต่วันหนึ่งเกิดมีขวดน้ำอัดลมใบหนึ่งถูกทิ้งลงมาจากเ ครื่องบินที่บินผ่านทะเลทราย ซี (นิเชา) เก็บขวดเปล่าตกมาจากฟ้าได้และนำกลับบ้านไปโดยเข้าใจว ่าเป็นของขวัญจากพระเจ้า นับตั้งแต่นั้นมาทุกคนในหมู่บ้านก็เปลี่ยนไป

เริ่มจากการมีทรัพย์สิน จากวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมที่มีแต่การแบ่งปัน ก็เริ่มมีการอิจฉาริษยา การทะเลาะเบาะแว้ง ความโกรธเคือง ความรุนแรง ซี จึงเชื่อว่าขวดเปล่าใบนั้นเป็นสิ่งชั่วร้ายที่นำความ ขัดแย้งมาสู่หมู่บ้านของเขา จึงตัดสินใจอาสาจะเดินทางไปสุดขอบโลกเพื่อนำของขวัญน ั้นกลับไปคืนพระเจ้า

ซึ่งภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เป็นการนำเสนอการเดินทางของซี และการพบกับอารยธรรมตะวันตกเป็นครั้งแรก โดยเสนอผ่านมุมมองใสซื่อบริสุทธิ์ของซี

หลังจากออกฉาย ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ก็ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างสูง จนมีการสร้างภาคต่อมาอีก 4 ภาค
