Game Features

Meet New Poké mon: There are three Poké mon from which you’ll be able to choose your first partner. There’s Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Poké mon Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Poké mon and Quaxly, the Duckling Poké mon. How will you meet these three, and what sorts of Poké mon are they? Depending on which version you play, you’ll also encounter the Legendary Poké mon Koraidon or Miraidon, who will join you on your journey. These mysterious Poké mon are capable of changing their forms to help them traverse over different terrain!
Make Your Own Story: At Naranja Academy and Uva Academy, you can meet new people, new Poké mon, and a new you. When you enroll in one of these academies, you’ll embark on your own adventure that unfolds the way you want it to. Battle against Gym Leaders as you plot your path along Victory Road, join the upperclassman Arven in search of rare ingredients on the Path of Legends, and challenge the group of delinquents known as Team Star in [Starfall Street]. These three stories are set in an open world, so where you go is all up to you!
The Terastal Phenomenon: In the Paldea region, you’ll discover a phenomenon that makes Poké mon shine and glimmer like gems. When a Poké mon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel appears above the Poké mon’s head like a crown, and the Poké mon’s body glistens like a cut gemstone. All Poké mon in the Paldea region are able to Terastallize to gain special power, and Terastallizing activates a Poké mon’s Tera Type, which can change the Poké mon’s type. Use the special transformation to enhance your battle strategies by increasing the power of any moves that have the same type as your Poké mon’s Tera Type or by changing your Poké mon’s weaknesses.
