เรื่องย่อ
“1 Litre of Tears” หรือ “บันทึกน้ำตา 1 ลิตร” ละครญี่ปุ่นที่เรียกน้ำตาจากคนดูมาแล้ว “มากกว่า 1 ลิตร” ละครเรื่องนี้ได้สร้างมาจากเรื่องจริงที่ถูกบันทึกไว ้ในไดอารี่ของ “คิโตะ อายะ” จำนวน 46 เล่ม ก่อนที่จะนำมาทำเป็นละคร ได้ถูกนำมาตีพิมพ์เป็นหนังสือชื่อเรื่องว่า “1 Litre of Tears”

1 Litre of Tears เป็นเรื่องราวของ “คิโตะ อายะ” หญิงสาวอายุ 15 ปี ที่ป่วยเป็นโรคร้าย “Spinocerebellar Degeneration” ชื่อภาษาไทยก็คือ “โรคกล้ามเนื้อเสียการประสานงานจากสมองน้อยและไขสันห ลัง” ที่ไม่มีทางรักษาให้หายขาดได้ พบคนที่ป่วยเป็นโรคนี้น้อยมาก อาการก็คือผู้ป่วยจะค่อยๆ สูญเสียความสามารถในการเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกายไปเรื่อย ๆ จนไม่สามารถขยับส่วนต่างๆ ของร่างกายได้ จะเดิน จะกิน จะพูดก็ไม่ได้ และเสียชีวิตในที่สุด (ต่างจากโรค ALS ที่เกิดจากความอ่อนแรงจากกล้ามเนื้อ)

ชีวิตของเธอตั้งแต่วันแรกที่เป็นโรคร้ายเต็มไปด้วยน้ ำตา ความท้อแท้ และสิ้นหวัง แต่ในเวลาต่อมาเธอกลับมองโลกอีกมุมหนึ่ง ใช้ชีวิตต่อไป จดบันทึกเรื่องราวต่างๆ ที่เธอได้เรียนรู้ลงไปในไดอารี่ ชีวิตเพียงหนึ่งแต่กลับทำให้คนอีกหลายล้านคนมีกำลังใ จใช้ชีวิตต่อไปอย่างมีความหมาย

ในเวอร์ชั่นของละครได้ Sawajiri Erika มารับบทเป็นอายะจัง และดูเหมือนว่าละครเรื่องนี้จะสร้างชื่อเสียงให้แฟนล ะครทั้งในญี่ปุ่นและไทยได้รู้จักเธอ ซึ่งในเรื่องจะมีการปรับเปลี่ยนนามสกุลของอายุเป็น“อ ิเคะอุจิ” ส่วนอายะตัวจริง เธอได้ต่อสู้กับชีวิต และจากโลกนี้ไปในวันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 1988 อายุได้ 25 ปี พร้อมทิ้ง “บันทึกน้ำตา 1 ลิตร” ไว้ให้คนที่ยังอยู่ได้มีกำลังใจก้าวเดินต่อไป
