ทั้งนี้ Paranormal Activity : The Ghost Dimension จะโฟกัสเรื่องราวของไรอัน ซึ่งพาเอมิลี่ ภรรยา และเลล่า ลูกสาววัย 6 ขวบ เข้าไปอยู่ในบ้านหลังใหม่ และได้ค้นพบกล้องวิดีโอและกล่องวิดีโอเทปปริศนาในโรง รถ ซึ่งเมื่อใดก็ตามที่มองผ่านเลนส์ของกล้องตัวนั้น พวกเขาจะสัมผัสได้ถึงพลังงานบางอย่างที่อยู่รอบตัว และในภาคนี้สองพี่น้องที่หลายคนจำได้อย่าง คริสตี้ และเคธี่ จะปรากฏตัวอีกครั้งเช่นกัน
