เนื้อเรื่อง....

เป็นเรื่องราวของหน่วย Public Security Section 9 ซึ่งเป็นตำรวจหน่วยปฏิบัติการพิเศษภายใต้การบังคับบั ญชาของ อารามากิ ซึ่งบรรดาลูกน้องจะเรียกว่า?ตาลิงเฒ่า?
อารามากิมีหัวหน้าหน่วย?ผู้พันคุซานากิ?เป็นผู้นำกลุ ่มในการปฏิบัติงาน เหตุการณ์ต่างๆภายในเรื่อง จะเป็นยุค ปี ค.ศ 2030 ยุคสมัยที่เทคโนโลยีด้านต่างๆพัฒนาถึงขีดสุด มีการสร้างหุ่นยนต์ และเครื่องจักรกลเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในทุกๆด้าน
รวมถึงได้มีการปลูกถ่ายอวัยวะเทียมเพื่อเพิ่มความสาม ารถของร่างกายให้มี ประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น โดยกล่าวได้ว่าระบบคอมพิวเตอร์และระบบเครือข่ายได้มี บทบาทสำคัญมาก แต่ก็อาจจะทำให้เกิดโทษร้ายแรงหากมีคนนำไปใช้อย่างผิ ดวิธี
จึงเป็นหน้าที่ของหน่วย Public Security Section 9 ที่ต้องคอยเฝ้าระวัง สืบสวน ทำคดีต่างๆที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการก่ออาชญากรรมทาง ระบบเครือข่ายโลกไซ เบอร์
