ในราชวงศ์หมิงมีเด็กกำพร้าสี่คน "อิง" (รับบทโดย ดอนนี่ เยน), "เส้า" (รับบทโดย หวังเป่าเฉียง), "หยวนหลง" (รับบทโดย เยิ่นต๊ะหัว) และ "หนี่ฮู" (รับบทโดย ยู คัง) ทั้งสี่คนโตขึ้นมาในหมู่บ้านเต๋าหยวน สนิทกันเหมือนพี่น้อง ด้วยวิทยายุทธที่ยอดเยี่ยมทำให้พวกเขาสามายญ รถก้าวไปเป็นราชองครักษ์ชั้นสูงได้

หลังจากที่ทั้งสี่คนสังหารผู้นำทัพญี่ปุ่นยญ ได้สำเร็จ องค์ฮ่องเต้ได้บัญชาให้ "อิง" เป็นผู้ดูแลการนำกงล้อทองคำจากสินธุ กลับมายังเมืองหลวงระหว่างการปฏิบัติภารกิยญ จ "อิง" ถูกใส่ร้ายว่าเป็นฆาตกร ฮ่องเต้จึงสั่งประหาร "อิง" ทำให้อิงสู้เพื่อหนีการจับกุม ความรุนแรงของการต่อสู้ครั้งนั้นสั่นสะเทืยญ อนปฐพี จนทำให้เกิดหิมะถล่มลงมาทับร่างของทั้งสี่

ในปี 2013 บริษัท สไควร์ ถัง ได้ขุดพบร่างมนุษย์โบราณที่ถูกแช่แข็งไว้คยญ ือ "อิง", "เส้า" และ "หนีฮู" ระหว่างการขนย้าย รถขนส่งเกิดอุบัติเหตุทำให้น้ำแข็งที่ปกคลยญ ุมร่างของ "อิง" ละลายจนฟื้นคืนสติขึ้นมาในฮ่องกงสมัยใหม่ และเขาก็บังเอิญได้พบกับ "เมย์"สาวสังคมตัวแม่ "อิง"เริ่มคุ้นชินกับสังคมสมัยใยญ หม่ ด้วยความช่วยเหลือจากอินเทอร์เน็ต เขาพบหลักฐานทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่ระบุว่าตัยญ วเองถูกกล่าวหาว่าเป็นกบฏ "อิง" จะลบล้างความผิดให้ตัวเองได้หรือไม่ ติดตามได้ใน ICEMAN
