เรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับแมลงประหลาดคล้ายมดจากต่างดาวได้เ ข้ามาบนโลกผ่านอุกาบาตแล้วหลุดออกกินสมองของมนุษย์ บางคนโดนแล้วจะมีบุคลิกเปลี่ยนไปคล้ายโดนเอเลี่ยนควบ คุมสมอง ในขณะที่บางคนโดนแมลงยึดสมองแล้วหัวก็จะระเบิด

ตัวละครหลักบางคนเป็นนักการเมือง เนื้อเรื่องเลยจะผสมๆแนวเสียดสีการเมืองด้วย ในขณะที่นางเอกเป็นนักทำสารคดีแต่ถูกพ่อเรียกให้มาช่ วยงานพี่ชายที่เป็นวุฒิสมาชิกเพื่อแลกกับการหาเงินทุ นมาทำสารคดี
