พระเอกของเรื่องมีนามว่า อ็อตเวย์ (Liam Neeson) ครับ เป็นหนึ่งในพนักงานบริษัทน้ำมันที่ต้องทำงานอยู่แถบอ ลาสก้าโน่น แล้วในวันหนึ่งเครื่องบินที่เขาและเหล่าพนักงานนั่งเ กิดอุบัติเหตุครับ เครื่องตกลงมาคนก็ตายเกือบหมด เหลือเพียงเขาและเพื่อนร่วมอาชีพอีก 6 คนเท่านั้น
จริงๆ คนที่รอดน่าจะสบายใจได้ที่ไม่ตายตอนเครื่องตกน่ะนะคร ับ ที่เหลือก็แค่พยายามเดินไปขอความช่วยเหลือให้ได้ก็พอ แต่ปัญหาก็คือ จุดที่เครื่องตกนั้นมันมีฝูงหมาป่าสุดโหดอาศัยอยู่ แล้วมันก็ไม่รอช้าที่จะไล่ล่าเขมือบมนุษย์ทุกผู้ที่ก ล้ารุกล้ำเข้ามาในดินแดนของมัน
