6 Underground คือผลงานกำกับเรื่องล่าสุดของ ไมเคิล เบย์ เจ้าของฉายาระเบิดภูเขา เผากระท่อมจาก Armageddon (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001) และแฟรนไชส์ Transformers ที่ร่วมงานกับ Netflix เป็นครั้งแรก โดยจะพูดถึงแก๊งเศรษฐี 6 คน ที่ ‘แกล้งตาย’ ลบการมีอยู่ของตัวเอง แล้วตั้งเป็นทีมปราบแก๊งอาชญากรใต้ดิน พร้อมกับความเชื่อที่ว่า ถ้า ‘คนเป็น’ จัดการไม่ได้ ก็ต้องให้ ‘คนตาย’ จัดการ

ทุกคนจะทิ้งชื่อของตัวเอง แล้วใช้รหัสลับตามเลข 1-6 โดยได้นักแสดงอย่าง ไรอัน เรย์โนลด์ส มารับบท วัน หัวหน้าทีม พร้อมกับเพื่อนร่วมทีมอย่าง เมลานี ลอว์เรนซ์, มานูเอล การ์เซีย รัลโฟ, อาเดรีย อาร์โจนา, โครีย์ ฮอว์คินส์ และ เบน ฮาร์ดี้ ที่ใช้ชื่อตามลำดับตัวเลขต่อมา

ถ้าดูจากตัวอย่างแรกที่ปล่อยออกมา ก็พอจะบอกได้ว่าเรื่องฉากแอ็กชันนั้นหายห่วง เชื่อมือไมเคิล เบย์ได้อยู่แล้ว ในครั้งนี้เรายังจะได้เห็นฉากระเบิด การสาดกระสุนแบบไม่ยั้ง รถลอยคว้างกลางอากาศ และมีจุดที่น่าสนใจ คือเทคนิค ลูกเล่นของอาวุธบางอย่าง เช่น ระเบิดแม่เหล็กแรงสูง ที่กลไกของแม่เหล็กสามารถเอามาดีไซน์ฉากแอ็กชันที่น่ าสนใจได้เป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งในหนังคงจะมีไม้เด็ดกว่านี้ซ่อนอยู่อีกเยอะ

ส่วนเรื่อง ‘บท’ ที่หลายคนมักจะรู้สึกว่าเป็นจุดอ่อนของ ไมเคิล เบย์ (ถ้าดูจากแฟรนไชส์ Tranformers หลายๆ ภาค) ก็ได้ พอล เวอร์นิก และ เรตต์ รีส คู่หูนักเขียนบทที่เด็ดขาดมากๆ ในการสร้างเรื่อง บทสนทนา ตลกร้าย จิกกัดทุกอย่างรอบตัวได้อย่างเจ็บแสบ อย่างที่เห็นมาแล้วจาก Zombieland และ Deadpool ทั้ง 2 ภาค มากลบจุดอ่อน เสริมจุดแข็งในภารกิจจารชนคนรวยในครั้งนี้

6 Underground ได้ทุนสร้าง 150 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ นับว่าเป็นโปรเจกต์หนังที่ได้ทุนสร้างมากเป็นอันดับ 2 ของ Netflix เป็นรองแค่ The Irishman ของ มาร์ติน สกอร์เซซี ที่ได้ทุนสร้าง 159 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ เพียงเรื่องเดียวเท่านั้น
