เรื่องย่อ
ปี 2018 วันอวสานโลกได้ผ่านมาและผ่านไป ทิ้งไว้เพียงซากอารยธรรมสมัยใหม่
กองทัพคนเหล็กได้คุกคามน่านฟ้าของโลกหลังวันหายนะ เพื่อสังหารและกำจัดมนุษย์ที่หลบซ่อนตัวอยู่ในเมืองร ้างและทะเลทราย
แต่กลุ่มผู้รอดชีวิตกลุ่มเล็กๆ ได้รวมตัวกันเป็นกลุ่มผู้ต่อต้าน ผู้หลบซ่อนอยู่ในบังเกอร์ใต้ดิน
และโจมตีกองกำลังศัตรูที่มีกำลังพลเหนือพวก เขาทุกเมื่อที่เป็นไปได้
ผู้ที่บงการคนเหล็กเหล่านี้คือสกายเน็ท เครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์อัจฉริยะ
ที่เริ่มมีความรู้สึกนึกคิดขึ้นมาตั้งแต่เมื่อ 14 ปีก่อนและเพียงเวลาชั่วพริบตา
มันก็ได้หักหลังผู้สร้างมันขึ้นมา และปลดปล่อยอาวุธนิวเคลียร์สู่โลกใบนี้ โดยไม่ทันให้ตั้งตัว
มีชายเพียงคนเดียวที่เห็นวันอวสานโลกคืบคลานเข้ามา ชายเพียงคนเดียว ผู้ซึ่งชะตากรรมของเขา
