Storyline: In 2009 , Adrian Helmsley (Chiwetel Ejiofor) , an American geologist , visits astrophysicist Dr. Satnam Tsurutani (Jimi Mistry) in India and learns that neutrinos from a massive solar flare are causing the temperature of the Earth s core to increase.
