หนังเล่าเรื่องของ แอนนา สาวสังคมจัดที่บังเอิญได้เห็นฆาตกรฆ่าต่อเนื่องกำลัง จัดการเหยื่อแบบจะๆ ตา เธอพยายามวิ่งหนี แต่กลับเกิดอุบัติเหตุ จนทำให้ประสาทการรับรู้ทางสายตาของเธอ...บิดเบือนไป นั่นก็คือ เธอไม่สามารถจำใบหน้าใครได้เลย (แม้กระทั่งใบหน้าตัวเองในกระจก) ตามอาการที่ทางการแพทย์เรียกว่า Face-Blindness
