เล่าเรื่องราวเกิดขึ้นในอพาร์ทเม้นท์หมายเลข 143 ที่เมืองบาร์เซโลนา ประเทศสเปน เมื่อพ่อ ลูกสาวคนโต และลูกชายคนเล็ก ย้ายเข้าไปอยู่ในห้องหมายเลขดังกล่าว ทั้งสามก็เริ่มพบกับเรื่องราวเหนือธรรมชาติ เสียงโทรศัพท์ที่ไม่มีผู้โทรจากปลายทาง เงาแปลกๆที่ก่อตัวขึ้น แสงสว่างจากจุดที่ดำมืด หลอดไฟที่ระเบิดอย่างไม่มีเหตุผล ในที่สุดพวกเขาก็ต้องเรียกทีมผู้เชี่ยวชาญเรื่องเหนื อธรรมชาติเข้ามาร่วมกัน ค้นหาและพิสูจน์ และพยายามติดต่อกับสิ่งนั้น ซึ่งกลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของความสยองที่ไม่มีวันหวนกล ับ ความสยองแห่งอพาร์ทเมนท์ 143 ทุกมุมห้องมีแต่สิ่งลึกลับที่ยากเกินอธิบาย อบอวนไปด้วยความน่าสะพรึงกลัว สยองจนขนหัวลุก เมื่อสิ่งลี้ลับปรากฏร่างอย่างเต็มตา หวีดสุดขีดกับกล้องบันทึกภาพไว้เต็มรูปแบบ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกล้องอินฟราเดรด กล้องไนท์แคม ที่จะทำให้คุณขนหัวลุกแบบจัดเต็ม! จนคุณต้องตั้งคำถามว่าจะทำอย่างไร? เมื่อความตายบุกมาประชิดถึงห้องนอน!
