ภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมของงาน 48th Grand Bell Awards
The Front Line เป็นเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นในในช่วงปลายของสงครามเกาหล ี ซึ่งขณะนั้น กองทัพของเกาหลีทั้ง 2 ฝ่าย กำลังต่อสู้ช่วงชิงดินแดนบนเทือกเขาแอร๊ค
โดยทั้งคู่ ผลัดกันรุก ผลัดกันรับ มาตลอด ซึ่งการสู้รบดังกล่าวเป็นการกำหนดเส้นเขตแดนของทั้งส องประเทศคัง อึนเพียว (ซิน ฮากยอน จาก Harvest Villa) ถูกส่งไปยังแนวหน้าแห่งนี้ เพื่อสืบหาไส้ศึกเกาหลีเหนือในกองทัพ ..
จนกระทั่งเขาได้พบกับ คิม ซูฮยอค (โกซู จาก Will it snow for Christmas ?) ย้อนกลับไปในปี 1950 คัง อึนเพียว กับ คิม ซูฮยอค ทั้งสองเป็นเพื่อนร่วมรบกันมา คัง อึนเพียว รู้ดีว่า คิม ซูฮยอค นั้นเป็นคนที่ไม่เข้มแข็ง
ยังตื่นสนามรบ แต่หลังจากที่ คิม ซูฮยอค ถูกทหารเกาหลีเหนือจับไป จนกระทั่ง คัง อึนเพียว ได้กลับมาพบกับ คิม ซูฮยอคอีกครั้ง..บุคลิกของเขาได้เปลี่ยนไป

ผลงานเรื่องนี้กำกับโดยผู้กำกับเรื่อง Jang Hoon แต่ความน่าสนใจจริง ๆ ของเรื่องนี้ อยู่ที่มันไม่ได้ถ่ายทอดเฉพาะเรื่องราวของสงคราม แต่มันคล้ายจะแฝงเรื่องราวความรักระหว่างสาวเกาหลีเห นือ กับทหารเกาหลีใต้ ที่ทั้งคู่ไม่เคยมีโอกาสพูดคุยกันแต่สื่อสารกันด้วยล ูกปืน ..
