เรื่องย่อ

ยองซู อดีตเคยเป็นนักฟุตบอล เนื่องจากว่าภรรยาของเขาป่วย เขาจึงต้องเดินทางไปเมืองจีน เพราะยารักษาโรคหาได้จากที่นั่น ยองซูจึงต้องฝากให้จุน ซึ่งเป็นลูก ดูแลแทนในระหว่างที่เขาไม่อยู่และได้สัญญาว่าจะรีบกล ับมา แต่พอเวลาผ่านไป ยองซูก็ไม่กลับมาสักที เพราะมีเรื่องราวเกิดขึ้นมากมาย เขาจึงไม่สามารถรีบกลับมาตามคำสัญญาได้ จุนจึงออกตามหาพ่อ ระหว่างนั้นแม่ของจุนก็เสียชีวิต จุนโทษว่าเป็นความผิดของตนที่ไม่สามารถดูแลแม่ได้ จึงได้แต่ขอโทษยองซู ยองซูก็พยายามทำทุกวิถีทางเพื่อให้ได้พบกับลูก
