หนังเล่าเรื่องของ เอเลีย เจ้าของฟาร์มใหญ่ในชนบท แต่อายุ 40 แล้วยังไม่แต่งงาน เพราะเป็นคนมั่นใจในตัวเองสูงและเกลียดผู้หญิง วันหนึ่ง ลิซ่า สาวสวยเมืองกรุงที่รถเสียระหว่างเดินทางไปหาเพื่อนชา ย มาขออาศัยหลบฝน ลิซ่างงงวยกับพฤติกรรมบ้าๆบอๆของเอเลีย จึงตัดสินใจอยู่ต่อเพื่อจะลองดีกับเขา หนังดำเนินเรื่องไปแนวพ่อแง่แม่งอน บทและการแสดงอาจจะดูล้าสมัย แต่ดูเพลิน นางเอกสวยน่ารัก โดยเฉพาะซีนใกล้สุดท้ายในสนามบาสเกตบอล ให้สังเกตแววตาของเธอว่าน่ารักและเซ็กซี่ขนาดไหน
