เรื่องย่อ
ยามเมื่อความมืดมิดมาเยือน เหล่าภูตพรายเริงร่า มนุษย์ล้วนหวาดกลัว และสิ่งที่ภูตพรายเทิดทูนราวกับเจ้าชีวิต นั่นคือนูราริเฮียง (จอมภูต) ริคุโอะ ผู้มีเชื้อสายจอมภูต 1ใน 4 และเป็นผู้สืบทอดตำแหน่งหัวหน้ากลุ่มนูระรุ่นที่3 เด็กหนุ่มผู้ใช้ชีวิตเรียบง่ายกับคุณปู่ซึ่งเป็นนูรา ริเฮียง และสมาชิกในบ้านอีกหลายคน(ที่เป็นภูตผีทั้งนั้น) เขาเองก็ไม่ได้คิดมากอะไรกับเรื่องนี้ ความเรียบง่ายนี้น่าจะเป็นเช่นนี้ต่อไป แต่เมื่อวันที่เขาอายุครบ 13 ปี มาเยือน ทุกสิ่งได้เปลี่ยนไปตลอดกาล ริคุโอะสามารถเปลี่ยนร่างเป็นภูตตอนกลางคืนได้ แต่ว่าปีศาจหลายๆตนที่เป็นแกนนำของกลุ่มก็ยังไม่ยอมร ับริคุโอะเป็นผู้นำอยู่ ดี แม้ว่าริคุโอะจะแสดงฝีมือในการปราบขบวนอสูรชิโกกุแล้ วก็ตาม ริคุโอะจึงจัดตั้งขบวนร้อยอสูรของตนขึ้นเสียเอง โดยที่เป้าหมายคือการเป็นจอมภูตเหมือนนูราริเฮียงผู้ เป็นปู่
